During my 16 years teaching I have developed a passion for working with neurodivergent adults & SEN children to help nurture their swimming skills in a supportive, holistic way. The private setting at Gable Leisure minimises sensory overload, allowing me to engage with the student in a personalised, meaningful way.

We offer small classes with professional, skilled teachers who have a fantastic way with babies and children and can adapt the lesson for your little ones needs and abilities to help them learn this life long skill in and around the water.

We are dedicated to teaching babies and toddlers to swim in a safe and fun environment. Our teachers are highly trained and passionate about teaching classes that are progressive and focus on water confidence, safety, life-saving and stroke progression with a child-led approach that ensures the correct pace for every child.

Water Babies will teach you to teach your baby to swim. From lesson one, we'll get your little one used to the sensation of the water, developing their natural instincts, and transforming these into core aquatic skills. By the end of our progressive programme, your little one will be swimming freely using different strokes and be able to keep themselves safe in and around the water.
